Fleur-de-lis Marlborough

The scheme consists of 28 one and  two bed sheltered living apartments. The site is located in central Marlborough, as the photos show the project is complete with units being rapidly sold.

Foxholes Rd

An existing substantial 1930’s property was demolished and replaced with a contemporary, pitched roof flat scheme. Extensive use of vaulted ceilings within the top floor accommodation and recessed balconies with a well considered palette of materials creates a landmark building within the street scene.

Beechwood Avenue

28 Stour Road

We achieved planning approval under delegated powers for a contemporary ‘landmark’ building of 12 apartments on this prominent corner of Christchurch. We worked closely with the client and contractor to successfully deliver a high quality development within the clients budget.

41 Stour Road

We were instructed to design a contemporary flat scheme in place of the existing tired dwelling. The largely glazed proposed penthouse will boast stunning view across Christchurch to the priory and beyond. The application is currently with the local authority.

Clarke’s Yard

Our client came to us with an extant approval for a mixed use contemporary scheme. We maximized the site by gaining permission for a full residential scheme. These dwellings ranged from one bedroom flats to four bedroom family homes. Our approved scheme was much more sympathetic to the neighbouring properties and worked in harmony with the local conservation area.

The Crooked Beam

Aspire Architects have worked carefully with the client, and Christchurch Planning Department, to design a new build residential development on the site of a former restaurant which was in disrepair.  The site is within a strategic flood zone and by using a change of use/ replacement building planning strategy we achieved permission for the development, something that is extremely rare in Christchurch. The project is also on a prominent site within an established residential area, it was therefore important to find a solution that was acceptable in terms of planning policy and in keeping with the neighbouring properties.  The development will provide 5 new cluster houses, with parking, in a popular area of Christchurch.

Hillier Way

Development consists of 4No. 1-bedroom self-contained flats and 9No. 2-storey / 2&3-bedroom houses, all traditional built with a clean and crisp ultra-contemporary aesthetic and all affordably priced for mixed tenure occupation to satisfy the amenities for the local area, located close to the heart of Winchester city centre.
